The Caledon is the smallest of the Thatched Garden Rooms in the Garden Thatch range. Whilst its size makes it suitable for those with a smaller garden, its quality has not been compromised. It is constructed from the same top quality materials as the Komati, including authentic cape reeds from South Africa.

Based on the traditional African round houses called Rondavels, the Caledon will provide you with a unique and impressive garden building, and is ideal for relaxing with friends and family.

Its external dimensions are approximately 2.87 metres high with a diameter of 2.7 metres, and it will seat 6 adults with ease.



The Komati is the largest building in the Garden Thatch range, and has been designed specifically for outdoor entertaining. This large construction looks stunning and, because it is made primarily from natural products, it blends superbly into any setting.

Like its sibling, the Caledon, the Komati's design is also based on the African-Style Rondavel Huts, complete with a water resistant thatched roof made from authentic cape reeds from South Africa.

When furnished with the Garden Thatch 1.9 metre diameter hexagonal table and matching benches, the Komati can comfortably seat up to 12 people. And, as the furniture is removable, the large space is suitable for a multitude of activities including dancing.

With a diameter of approximately 3.7 metres and height of 3.1 metres, the Komati has impressive measurements as well as looks, and is normally installed in one day.*
